i just logged on to respond to your comment on 'what a difference framing makes'...and found this. thanks! another wonder of framing pieces like THE PODS is that when i walk by it, which is countless times a day, it sometimes hits me with that nostalgia: the growing of friendship, the discovery of something new (what kind of pod is this?), and the blissful state in the studio when the medium moves the charcoal and the shellac is flipped into droplets in the sun! all in the artfamilia we share!
